HOW IT WORKS
We deep clean your pet’s teeth safely, without anesthesia.
There is an alternative to anesthesia and it may be the right option for your pet. We always recommend speaking with your veterinary first before turning to non-anesthesia teeth cleaning for your furry friends. WHAT IS NON-ANESTHETIC PET DENTAL?
Anesthesia-free dentistry sometimes referred also as non-anesthesia dental procedures involve gently scaling the tartar from the teeth of your pet while they are fully awake. There is a wide range of issues that would require an anesthetic procedure but in the cases of medically compromised pets or for regular cleanings, a pet owner may not want to anesthetize their pet. Non-anesthetic dental cleanings are great to prevent periodontal disease and are recommended every 6 months to maintain dental health. The best part is procedures are normally 45 minutes long, there is no downtime and we do not use any medications.
We do all this in three easy steps.
1
Remove Plaque and Calculus
It's exactly what it sounds like. We start the process by removing the plaque and calculus that has built up on your pet's teeth.
2
Clean Under the Gumline
This is the most important step. We clean the bacteria under the gum line carefully ensuring your pet is safe throughout the process.
3
Polish and Wipe Debris
Now for the fun part and usually when your pet has the most fun. We gently polish, wipe and rinse for freshness.
