PURRFECTLY DELIGHTFUL

A CAT'S MOUTH IS A DIRTY PLACE
Cats have different types of bacteria growing in their mouths attacking their gums and teeth. They are at higher risk of periodontal disease than dogs making regular dental cleanings vital for their overall health.

Cats are at higher risk of contracting oral inflections for various reasons. For example, they do not chew on bones therefore cats cannot benefit from the natural teeth-cleaning process chewing brings in preventing periodontal disease. For this reason, cats are at higher risk of needing anesthetic dental.

SMALLER TEETH QUICKER CLEAN
There is one benefit cats have over dogs. Cats have 30 adult teeth which are significantly smaller than dogs. This means their dental cleanings will go by much faster.

We prefer to keep cats away from dogs during their visit so they can relax while we perform their dental cleanings. Teeth cleaning can take about 30 minutes.
